How to play Scorpion Solitaire

Play Scorpion Solitaire on 850305, then compare your approach with the example below. Complete four same-suit king-to-ace runs. The accompanying practice note focuses on control confidence.

Seven columns; three stock cards dealt once to the first three columns. Free solo play, no wagering.

Control confidence

Check the controls before starting. On a touch screen, keep the game area visible and use the labelled buttons where they are provided.

Your goal

Complete four same-suit king-to-ace runs.

Step by step

  1. Move a face-up card with its tail onto the next higher same-suit rank. Kings fill empty columns.
  2. Select a face-up card and then the destination pile or Empty slot.
  3. Use foundations where available; full Spider or Scorpion runs clear automatically.
  4. Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.

Controls

Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown.

A useful example

The trailing cards may be unordered, but the destination suit and rank must match.

Watch out for this

Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy.
